I have just resigned from the Labour Party thanks to Wes Streeting’s stance on Transgender Healthcare for Kids. He has just made the ban on Puberty Blockers permanent.
In the announcement he stated he is following guidance from experts. I find this very suspect as even the CASS report, a report that he has frequently referenced, states that puberty blockers should be used in certain circumstances.
This comes the day before the state of Montana Supreme Court voting to protect healthcare for Transgender people, no matter what Donald Trump or the US Supreme Court does. The article from the website LGBTNation even stated that all healthcare organisations in the US support the continuation of healthcare, stating it saves lives, improves mental health and physical health of kids.
So I would like to know, who are the experts that Wes Streeting is referring to when he said the ban will be permanent.
