For all the witches

First week of the 30 day challenge

After watching a YouTube Video of Page and Holly doing the 30 day challenge (Link Here) and it helped them turn there life around, I thought I would do the same to celebrate Pride Month. I have also not had a lot of energy since splitting up with my ex so this is a good way to get back to living again.

The UK is also in the middle of a mini heatwave, which for me is a bad thing since I am a red head. This comes to bite my backside later on.

So what I decided to do for the 30 day challenge is get up at 6am every day and go for a 3 mile walk (I can not run like I used to as I have a hip that plays up sometimes) For the first 2 days this went good. Here are 2 photos I took when doing them.

Day 1

Day 2
Then heatstroke hit me like a truck. Thanks to the heat wave and the fact I am a red head for Day 3 I had a stinking headache and was drained. I also had to drink a lot of water. for the next 4 days (that is the day I am writing this post) I still had headaches and drained. I was determined to do the challenge though so 6am, I went for the 3 mile walk. Some of the days it was almost as hard to do as the training for the British Army, as I was drained, still had the headaches and couldn’t really be bothered to do it.
I credit the said training I went through with the British Army for the mental toughness to say stuff this, I am doing it. So tomorrow it will be a week since I started this challenge. I did go to the hospital after 3 days of constant headaches to make sure it was nothing serious. I was given the all clear. Here are the photos I post on Facebook to show I am doing it to my FB Buddies.

Day 4

Day 5

Day 6

One of the benefits of doing a 30 day challenge is not Physical, but mental. You need to have a mindset not to give up, even when you have a pounding head and feel like you just want to go back to bed and stay there for the rest of the day. I can credit that toughness for me thanks to my military training. I have huge respect for people who have not had the training I have and successfully complete a 30 day challenge.

If you feel down, unwanted and just cant be bothered with life, try a 30 day challenge. I bet it will help you.
Sorry this blog post is a bit short, but today is the first day where I can look at a computer screen and not be hit with an headache that blurs my vision in the last 4 days ! !
