So, this week marks 10 months since I started HRT. Where has time gone. It almost feels like it was yesterday when I wrote a blog post about starting HRT.

While I think I am now firmly out of the baby trans phase of my transition I still fell I have a lot to learn about transitioning.
What has changed in the last month?
Well a lot of friends have been saying my boobs are getting bigger, and last week they felt bigger for some reason, also firmer as well.
I have been feeling the cold a LOT more this winter than I usually do but I have also been ill this last month also with an old Army injury. Body hair is slowing in growth as well and I am a lot weaker than I was before I started HRT.
I also think me feet are a bit smaller than they was as some shoes that only just fit me before easily fit me now. Maybe I am imagining things there.
Video Recommendation
On a different topic, I recently watched a video last week by another transgender girl about her story for coming out. I thought it was a very good video so I will link it here.
The way she talks about how her Dad came around to accepting who she is is very moving. I never had that experience personally as my foster Dad died years ago and although I know where my my real Dad is I want nothing to do with him.
Thinking about coming out?
If you are thinking about coming out as a transgender person than please, don’t let anyone pressure you, or scare you from coming out. You have to just be yourself. You will be a lot happier when you do it, I am, every other transgender person I have spoken to are of the same feeling also.
Just make sure you have a safe place to live if you decide to come out to your parents and still live with them just in case.
Getting ready for Pride Month
I can’t believe that Pride Month is only 2 months away already. Where has time gone? I have no idea.
I want to go to at least 3 pride events this year, Blackpool, Blackburn and Burnley.
This will also be the first pride month where I have been on HRT for a while and there are some notable differences as last year I had only just started HRT just before pride month.
Pride month can be a month where, well it is for me, you can start to define what you will be like for the next year in terms of your look. I find it good to look how you have been the past year, think about what you can change and do those changes.
Pride month is also especially important this year as last year was a year of hope, that year would be the last year of a transphobic government before Labour would win the election and kick them out. While that happened, unfortunately for the transgender community nothing much has changed. The current Labour government is just as bad as the last conservative government and if anything it is worse than last year as Donald Trump is now the President of the United States.
So it is very important to remember that while Pride is a celebration of the LGBT Community it is also a protest for our rights as human beings.
