LGBTQAI+ Conversion Therapy Ban

First off sorry for not posting a lot over this year. Been having problems with PTSD so that does effect my concentration a lot. I will try to make posts more regular.

As you may or may not of heard this government flipped flopped on Conversion Therapy. At first it was a total ban for everyone, then no ban at all then finally they decided to ban for everyone apart from Transgender People. The "Safe to be me" LGBT+ conference the government had set up collapsed thanks to every major LGBT+ Charity and AID Charities pulling out. Over 200 in total. The Government wasted £650,000 of taxpayers on this conference. The BMA (British Medical Association) also supports a full ban.

It has also emerged that over 60% of the population, no matter who they vote for, support a TOTAL ban on conversion Therapy, yet this government does not listen.

This is unacceptable. Last weekend there was a protest outside No 10. about 3000 people turned up, along with smaller ones in Belfast and Dublin, even though most of the MSM only reported 100's. Also within a week there was a petition through the official government website to include all LGBTQAI+ people that reached 100k signatures and at the time of writing has 133k signatures and is the 6th most voted for petition currently even though they go on for 6 months.

This weekend there are also demonstration's in Manchester, Brighton, Plymouth, Oxford and Liverpool. I will be going to the one in Manchester, PTSD be dammed.

Before I end this post I would like to thank, on behalf of all Trans people, the love and support from the whole LGBT+ community and beyond. It is heart-warming.
