Germany has a new government that ours can learn from.

There has been some weird stories in the news these last 2 weeks since I last posted, I am going to discuss some here as well as some very good news for our brothers and sisters in Germany.  I didn't post last week as my PTSD has been acting up as it usually does this time of year.

Girls who don't like dolls are treated as Transgender?

Dr David Bell, the NH Trust's former governor says under Stonewall's influence, clinicians believe it is the "only acceptable explanation" writes the "Telegraph".

I'm sorry but what? I know some women who didn't like dolls as a kid but are lesbian's and some that are happily married to men so cis not transgender. This is just utter rubbish by a very transphobic newspaper. All they seem to do these days is attack transgender people for being who we are.

Twitter Madness

This was posted on twitter after President Biden honored transgender people killed in the US by stating "each of these lives was precious".

I'm sorry Jap (part of his twitter handle), but this trans woman put her life on the line in wars so you are safe in your home, with the freedoms you enjoy. I will never pass as a "woman" in looks, I know that. I am a proud Transgender Woman however, I think like a woman, I act like a woman. I AM A WOMAN. Its more than just looks, it is how your brain thinks and acts that counts.

Germany has a new LGBT+ friendly government.

Germany has a new government thanks to Angela Merkel retiring. The new Chancellor, Olaf Scholz as reached a coalition deal with numerous parties and they have decleared the following friendly LGBT+ policies.

  1. A new Self-ID law for Trans people.
  2. Reinforced ban on intersex surgeries.
  3. A TOTAL ban on conversion therapy.
  4. No restrictions on blood donations by gay and bi men, and trans people.
  5. Funding for gender reassignment surgeries though public-private insurance.
  6. Compensation for trans people who have suffered harm due to gender change requirements.
I wish the British Tory government would take note of these changes and do the same for the UK, but this will not happen. Just look at the law "banning" conversion therapy currently in consultation in the UK. Liz Truss, the minister in charge of the law, has already watered down the law with exceptions for "Religious Reasons". Sorry but this therapy leads to a high rate of suicide, when did religious reasons trump human life?

I also hope, that as member of the Labour Party, that when we win the next General Election the new Labour government will enact these policies without delay.
