LGB Alliance Conference, John Lewis Advert.

So in a bit of personal news I got some new glasses this week, my first set of glasses every. Yes I know, I am getting old. John Lewis Advert So John Lewis, a large general store chain here in the UK, put an advert of a boy of 9-10 in a dress and makeup having fun. I thought it was a good advert for home insurance as he was smashing things up. The GC's on Twitter had a melt down, saying this was advertising trans kids and pushing the trans aganda. I'm sorry but when is it a crime for a kid to have fun? I used to dress up as a kid as a lot of my friends when I was that age did. John Lewis got a lot of flak over the advert as apparently so did the mother of the kid in the advert. I have to give credit to John Lewis for sticking to its guns, helping the kids family out and saying what most people knew, it was just a kid having some fun. Statue, BBC and the Death of an MP

This week has been one of joy and sadness in the world of politics and in the LGBT community in general. Sir David Amess MP This week an serving MP, Sir David Amess, was knifed to death by a British Somali while attending a community surgery. All he was doing was his job, while I didn't agree with his party or some of his polices he should be able to do his job is safety. This should not happen in the 21st century, I hope the people behind this attack gets the book thrown at them. Thinking of his family during this difficult time. BBC being transphobic as usual. The BBC has done an " investigation " into the biggest charity in the UK that supports LGBT rights, especially Trans rights, Stonewall. As you can guess, it was one sided. It goes on about how Stonewall as influence in public bodies. Well of course it does, its a charity that is trying to get equal rights for all LGBT people in the UK. Yet the BBC does not mention the hate group LGB Alliance, who is campaigning f

Tory Conference, how to alienate a comminity

Last week as the Tory Conference in Manchester. Funny how they come to the North West, one of the areas of failed promises of "levelling up" on the week they cut the Universal Credit £20 per week boost when the Pandemic is still going on. That is the equivalent of a weeks worth of food for many families up here. (I am from the North West England). Speech Carrie Johnson, the PM's wife, made a speech at a side event organized by Stonewall, the biggest LGBT charity in the UK and one that is steadfast in its support for Transgender Rights (Read the LGB Section below). She said a lot of good things. The PM needs to learn a few things though, actions speak louder than words. LGB Alliance First thing they did was invite the Anti-Trans organisation, the LGB Alliance. This organisation is supported by people who are homophobic, transphobic and neo-nazies. They want to erase the "T" out of "LGBT". Most LGBT people do not support them in the slightest as was witn

Transphobia in the UK

Transphobia, or "discrimination against transgender or transsexual people" in the UK is getting worse. Especially online with the popularity of social media like Twitter and Facebook. It to me seems a lot worse on Twitter than anywhere else. What makes it worse, a lot of people don't seem to realise that they are saying transphobic things. Not everyone who says transphobic things are inherently transphobic. The worst thing a trans person can do is fight back. I did try this on Facebook and I got reported and now have a mark on my account after someone said "I should say I am a dog and live like one" and I replied "enjoy yourself and stop being transphobic".  I appealed the decision and it got rejected. The best thing you can do in most cases as a Trans Person is report and block people like that. That is also the police advise on what to do. As for real life, I have been lucky, very lucky. Where I live, in Lancashire, England, 99% of people are tolera
